2plus1Ads, a renowned advertising agency based in Bucharest, offers creative and digital marketing strategies tailored to new consumer trends. As part of its expansion, the agency developed an e-commerce site on Shopify, integrating various supplier product catalogs. To ensure these catalogs were compatible with the platform, it was essential to transform the provided files, which came in diverse formats and structures, into data ready for import into Shopify.
Solution
To tackle this challenge, 2plus1 adopted WeTransform to convert supplier product catalogs into the Shopify format, enabling a smooth and structured data upload. This allowed 2plus1 to create precise management rules, ensure automatic categorization, enrich product attributes, and apply filters to harmonize the data. Given the volume—thousands of products—the agency sought a simple, fast solution that required no specific development.

Implemetation
2plus1 Ads created several templates in WeTransform, corresponding to the e-commerce categories sold on Shopify. Each template defines the specific data formats required. All that remains is to upload supplier files—16 in total, from different companies with varied data formats—and WeTransform takes care of the rest. Thanks to artificial intelligence and advanced transformation rules, 2plus1 Ads can automatically transform its suppliers’ files.
