Before WeTransform, manual processing didn’t scale

Every seller provides product data in their own format. Different column names, different category structures, different attribute mappings. Each marketplace, in turn, imposes its own specific format and constraints on the other side.

In between, Sellermania’s integration team had to bridge the gap manually. A new client meant a new mapping. A format update from a seller meant revisiting rules that were already in place. Support teams spent significant time handling file issues, and the burden often fell back on the merchant to adapt their data to fit the process.

At 300 clients and millions of products processed daily, doing this work manually was simply not sustainable.

The solution

One configuration per client, reused forever

Sellermania integrated WeTransform to handle format variation at the source. Each client format is now configured once — and reused automatically for every subsequent import.

WeTransform’s AI-assisted mapping matches attributes and categories between incoming client formats and marketplace requirements, without manual intervention. Business rules can be created or modified using a simple prompt, making configuration accessible to non-technical users while preserving the full power and flexibility of the tool.

The platform runs over 50 transformation functions — filters, reformatting, concatenations, enrichment, validation, error handling, custom functions, calculations, and more — applied consistently across all formats, at scale.

Building an equivalent solution in-house would have generated substantial development costs, plus ongoing maintenance. WeTransform replaced that complexity with a managed, updatable layer that evolves with new formats without competing for engineering roadmap.
